The Everydayer — “Trinidad Chambliss Is Going To Have His Heisman Moment” (Friday, November 6, 2026)

The Everydayer Newsletter, Morning News masthead, November 6, 2026

Good morning, Everydayers. It’s Friday, and Georgia is tomorrow night. Ole Miss legend Todd Wade leads today: he calls Saturday the biggest game of his lifetime, and his full conversation premieres at 5 p.m. ET. Then today’s LOOM Flagship, Steven’s case for why Ole Miss beats Georgia, with the keys, the players to watch, the number and his final score.

🏈 Legend Speaks: Todd Wade

Ole Miss legend Todd Wade joined Locked On Ole Miss the day before Georgia, and he didn’t hedge on the stakes: “I can’t think of a bigger game in my lifetime.” He says it’s bigger than LSU, and a win would be “a program changer.”

His key is Trinidad Chambliss’s legs. Wade liked that Ole Miss drew up runs for Chambliss against Auburn instead of waiting on scrambles, and he wants more Saturday: “For us to win this game, he needs to be able to run the ball.” He likes what he sees up front, too, a line that’s “playing lower” with “less chop, more drive,” and he wants Ole Miss up or tied at the half.

His pick for Saturday, and his alone: Ole Miss 27-24.

What we couldn’t confirm: Wade’s and the show’s comments on Georgia’s defensive ranking and on Georgia’s other games this season aren’t reporting, so they’re not in this newsletter.

Watch the full Todd Wade conversation, premiering today at 5 p.m. ET.

☕ Morning Coffee

“Trinidad Chambliss is going to have his Heisman moment Saturday night.”

That’s how Steven opened today’s LOOM Flagship, the case for why Ole Miss beats Georgia. Three things from today’s show:

  • Chambliss has the stage. “Trinidad Chambliss is going to have his Heisman moment Saturday night,” Steven said, and he means several special plays, not one. Chambliss has thrown a touchdown pass in 21 straight games; one more ties Chad Kelly’s program record of 22. Asked how you defend him, Kirby Smart’s first answer was “How long you got?” In the Sugar Bowl, Chambliss threw for more than 300 yards and two touchdowns as Ole Miss came back from nine down at the half.
  • Win enough early downs. “Not every snap. Enough.” Georgia runs for 200.1 yards a game, and when it stays on schedule, Gunner Stockton completes 71.8 percent of his passes. But Ole Miss just held Auburn to 63 yards on 27 carries, with 10 tackles for loss and four sacks. Win first and second down, Steven said, and third-and-seven in a full Vaught-Hemingway is a different game.
  • The cleaner game, and the number. Reason three is turnovers, penalties and tackling: no free yards, no extra possessions. As of Thursday morning on FanDuel, Georgia is a 3.5-point favorite with 64 percent of the spread bets but only half the money. The LOOM Model has Georgia by 0.1. Steven’s final score, and his alone: Ole Miss 27, Georgia 21.
