As of Thursday morning, Nov. 5, on FanDuel. The number has not moved off Georgia by 3.5 and 56.5 since Sunday morning.

Plus-142 means the market gives Ole Miss a little better than a 40 percent chance to win outright. The LOOM Model calls it a coin flip, the closest projection on the board: the 2.6-point rating gap between the teams is almost exactly what home field gives back. More people are betting Georgia; the bigger tickets are splitting the other way.

Ole Miss is going to win this game 27 to 21.

🔍 Where The Model And The Market Disagree

  • Texas at Missouri, the biggest gap on the board. FanDuel has Texas by 2.5 on the road; the LOOM Model has Missouri by 3.0. That is a 5.5-point disagreement about who is even favored. Both teams are 6-2. Texas has lost to Oklahoma and Florida; Missouri is coming off a 34-10 win at Arkansas.
  • Vanderbilt at Mississippi State. FanDuel makes it a field goal, Mississippi State by 2.5. The model has the Bulldogs by 8.4, a 5.9-point gap. Vanderbilt is 0-5 in the SEC; Mississippi State has lost four straight since a 4-0 start.
  • Alabama at LSU. FanDuel has LSU by 5.5; the model, which rates these two as the top two teams in the SEC, has LSU by 2.2. The two biggest names on the 3:30 window, and the model thinks it is closer than the market does.
  • Georgia at Ole Miss. A 3.4-point gap: the market has Georgia by a field goal and change, and the model has it as the closest game on the board, a coin flip.
  • Where they agree. Kentucky-Tennessee, Texas A&M-South Carolina and Oklahoma-Florida all land within two points of each other, model and market.

🎯 What It Means For Ole Miss

Ole Miss has a rooting interest in two other games. An LSU win over Alabama and a Missouri win over Texas would knock two of the SEC’s 6-2 teams to three losses. Steven put it plainly in his conversation with Todd Wade, premiering tonight at 5 p.m. ET: Ole Miss “probably needs LSU and Missouri to take care of business.” FanDuel has LSU favored and Missouri an underdog at home; the LOOM Model has both of them winning.
