Ole Miss put 47 points on the board before halftime and spent the second half running out the clock on a game that was already finished. Central Arkansas drops to 1-1.
Final Score

The Record
Pinkins’ four threes pushed him past John Matthews and his 44.3% for the best three-point percentage in Ole Miss history. He is 50-of-111 from behind the arc across two seasons — 45% — and 7-of-9 through two games this year.
Clark’s six assists carried their own ledger: he is past 500 for his career, has 46 career games with at least 10 points and five assists, and is one of two active players in the country with 1,500 points, 500 assists and 225 steals. Henshall’s 13 were his first double-figure game in college, and Stephenson has reached double figures in each of his first two starts.
How It Went
The first half was the game. Pinkins hit from outside, Clark set up the rest, and Ole Miss led by 23 at the break. Christian Brown scored inside, Yohance Connor added a three and a steal, and Ilias Kamardine hit from deep as every available Rebel got on the floor. Ole Miss led for 38 minutes and 41 seconds.
The Numbers
Ole Miss shot .514 from the field, .400 from three and .714 at the line, against Central Arkansas’s .380, .321 and .619. The Rebels won the glass 39-33 and the turnover battle 8 to 18, which turned into a 20-5 edge in points off turnovers. Steals went 10 to 4.
Four Rebels reached double figures, three of them starters. Ole Miss has now started 2-0 in each of Chris Beard’s four seasons, and the win was the 298th of his career across all NCAA divisions. The Rebels are 5-0 all-time against Central Arkansas, and this is the first time since 2012-13 they have opened a season with back-to-back 90-point games.
Ole Miss hosts Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. CT.
