UNIVERSITY RELEASE — Originally published by Ole Miss Athletics, Oct. 12, 2026.
No. 20 Ole Miss women’s golf played 36 holes on Monday at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois, shot 283 and then 281, and sits fourth at 12-under through two rounds of the Illini Women’s Invitational — four strokes off a three-way tie at the top.
The Team Day
- First round: 5-under 283
- Second round: 7-under 281
- Two-round total: 12-under 564
- Position: fourth, four strokes behind co-leaders Illinois, Indiana and Missouri
The second round was the better of the two by two shots, which is the direction a team wants the trend running with one round left. It still left the Rebels looking up at three schools rather than one.
The Individual Leaderboard
- Mary Miller — 8-under 136 (65-71), fourth
- Matilda Björkman — 3-under 141, T-16
- Sophie Linder (competing as an individual) — 3-under 141, T-16
- Kajsalotta Svarvar — 2-under 142, T-19
- Ebba Lundqvist — 1-over 145, T-36
- Lisa Herman — 5-over 149, T-63
Miller, a junior, opened with a career-low 7-under 65 and added a 1-under 71 to pace the Rebels at 8-under. She is five strokes behind Minnesota’s Mariana Mesones, who leads the individual field at 13-under.
