Ole Miss men’s tennis went 13-2 in singles across the opening two rounds of the ITA Regional Championships in Auburn, Alabama, and put six players into the Round of 16 — what the release describes as the largest remaining singles contingent of any team in the field.
Round of 64
Seven of eight Rebels came through the opening round, and two of them did it without dropping a game in a set. Niccolo Baroni handled Southern Miss’s Ritabrata Sarkar 6-0, 6-0, and Mason Landreth beat Alabama State’s Flor De Sitter 6-0, 6-2.

- Mason Landreth def. Flor De Sitter (Alabama State), 6-0, 6-2
- Niccolo Baroni def. Ritabrata Sarkar (Southern Miss), 6-0, 6-0
The one loss came in a match Stefan Vedovelli could not finish. He dropped the first set to South Alabama’s Harold Van Raemdonck 6-3, took the second 6-2, and retired trailing 3-0 in the third.
Round of 32
Six of the seven survivors advanced again, including Jankanj in the only three-setter of the round — he lost the opener 3-6 to Alabama’s Braden Haning and won the next two 6-3, 6-4. Landreth moved on by walkover over Raphael Vaksmann.

Pampanin was the round’s lone Rebel casualty, losing to South Alabama’s Jules Caby 6-0, 7-6 (7-2) after taking the second set to a tiebreak.
Into the Round of 16
Milburn, Kudriashov, Kudernatsch, Landreth, Jankanj and Baroni all advanced. The release reports no doubles results. Competition continues for the Rebels at the ITA Regional Championships in Auburn.
