EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. — Ole Miss men’s golf finished sixth at the Hamptons Intercollegiate, closing the week with a team total of 885, 21 over par.
Claycomb and Matarazzo Lead the Way
Cooper Claycomb was the low Rebel, finishing tied for 17th at 4-over for the tournament on rounds of 3-under, even par and 7-over. Eduardo Matarazzo was next, tied for 22nd at 6-over, with an even-par opening round followed by a pair of 3-over rounds — the steadiest card on the team.
Trolio and Restrepo Inside the Top 35
Collins Trolio finished tied for 31st at 7-over, opening 2-under before rounds of 1-over and 8-over. Tomas Restrepo was tied for 34th at 8-over, sandwiching a 1-under second round between rounds of 2-over and 7-over.
The Closing Round Was the Hard One
The third round was the Rebels’ toughest of the week. Trolio closed in 8-over, and Claycomb and Restrepo each in 7-over. Matarazzo’s 3-over and Daniel Tolf’s 4-over were the lowest closing rounds among the five Rebels playing for the team.

Daniel Tolf finished tied for 50th at 16-over, with a 10-over second round the high number on his card. Finn Meister, who competed as an individual, finished tied for 38th at 10-over and was the only Rebel in the field to close at par.
