Ole Miss men’s tennis stayed on the board at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships on Wednesday, picking up a doubles win at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Doubles, Round of 32
Senior Moritz Kudernatsch and Pietro Pampanin beat Penn’s Shaurya Bhardwaj and Vojtech Vales in straight sets, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5.
Neither set came easy. The first went to a tiebreak, where the Rebel pair pulled away 7-4, and the second stayed tight until Kudernatsch and Pampanin closed it out 7-5 rather than let it go the same route.
