Wednesday’s show was all Florida week, built around three things. First, Ole Miss may have found its third receiver just in time: Traylon Ray turned 26 routes into seven catches, 115 yards and a touchdown against LSU — the kind of efficiency that forces Florida to defend three threats instead of two. Second, continuity is the Rebels’ quiet edge. The coordinator change from Charlie Weis Jr. to John David Baker didn’t slow anything down, and Jon Sumrall said so himself while prepping for the Rebels: “there’s a lot more of the same than anything different.” Third, the real math on Trinidad Chambliss — he just tied Eli Manning’s 16-game touchdown-pass streak, but what he’s actually chasing is the right to play a January game in Oxford instead of one on an airplane.
