The American Football Coaches Association released its Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday with Ole Miss slotted 10th in the country entering the 2026 season.
Pete Golding heads into his first full year running the program after last season’s College Football Playoff semifinal appearance and the first 13-win campaign in Ole Miss history. The Rebels have now strung together three straight seasons of 10 or more victories, something no previous Ole Miss team had done.
Golding and his staff moved aggressively to reload. Ole Miss finished with the No. 2 transfer class nationally per 247Sports — a fifth consecutive top-six finish in those team rankings — alongside a high school signing class that climbed as high as No. 10.
